As an experienced Cloud Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS. You will take ownership of features and services, contribute to technical decisions, and collaborate closely with architects and DevOps teams.
What You’ll Do
Design and build scalable backend services and APIs on AWS
Develop serverless and container-based applications
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Integrate applications with AWS services (Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, etc.)
Implement security, logging, monitoring, and performance best practices
Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
Troubleshoot and optimise applications in production environments
Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of hands-on AWS development experience
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Node.js, or similar
Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
Solid understanding of AWS core services and architectures
Experience with serverless and/or containerised workloads
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
Exposure to cloud security and cost optimisation principles
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
