Software Developer Co-Op Internship

Are you interested in designing and implementing scalable, flexible code at PlayStation®? Do you have a passion for developing great products? At PlayStation, we are currently hiring interns/co-ops in our Madison, Wisconsin office who will create rich, user-friendly solutions for our passionate gamers, internal development teams, and internal business partners. Our Software Developer Co-ops work alongside our full-time software engineers to produce real products and services that are used across PlayStation.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a team of engineers to deliver practical, useful, and reliable tools, processes, and systems to PlayStation engineers and/or PlayStation customers
Help maintain existing applications and shared libraries
Write clear, well-documented, maintainable, portable, and highly functional code
Write and complete unit and integration tests
Minimum Requirements:
Fluent in at least one programming language
A good understanding of object-oriented principles.
Familiarity with common data structures and algorithms
Experience with some web technologies and frameworks
Strong appetite for learning, and able to quickly gain understanding of complex tasks.
Preferred Requirements:
Proficient with JavaScript and/or C++
Experience developing with front end frameworks like React and React Native
Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
Excellent communication skills, and hopefully a good sense of humor!

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
Intern Pay Range
$41.50 - $41.50 USD
