Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg - Atrium Health Greater Charlotte Area

Major Responsibilities
• Provide holistic nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions, post-operative
needs, and chronic illnesses.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify changes in patient condition.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care using the nursing process.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor patient status and respond to signs of deterioration or complications.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge plans.
• Document care, assessments, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to a culture of safety and teamwork
