Role Overview
We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with 1-3 years of relevant experience to support financial reporting, compliance, audits, and business finance activities. The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, hands-on execution, and the ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS / AS)
Ensure accurate accounting entries and reconciliations as per applicable accounting standards
Handle MIS preparation, month-end and year-end closing activities
Statutory, Taxation & Compliance
Ensure compliance under Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, FEMA, and other applicable laws
Prepare and review GST returns, TDS returns, income tax computations, and filings
Coordinate with tax consultants and authorities for assessments, notices, and audits
Audit & Controls
Manage statutory, tax, and internal audits end-to-end
Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely closure of audit queries
Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to policies and processes
Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance
Budgeting & Analysis
Assist in preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
Support management with MIS reports and financial analysis
Track costs, profitability, and key financial metrics
Stakeholder Coordination
Work closely with cross-functional teams (HR, operations, legal, finance)
Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities as required
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS / AS)
Practical knowledge of Indian taxation, including Income Tax, TDS, and GST
Working knowledge of Transfer Pricing regulations and international taxation
Prior exposure to audits, compliance, and financial reporting in a growing organization
Familiarity with FEMA compliance and foreign remittances
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems
Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills
