About the role The Compliance Advisor is accountable for coordinating supplier-facing activities, including but not limited to managing the central mailbox, conducting supplier compliance audits for existing client portfolios, and reviewing all supplier documentation relevant to the client, country, MSP service, and audit components.
The role requires maintaining up-to-date audit trackers and central databases to accurately reflect audit outcomes at all times. Additionally, the Compliance Advisor collaborates with Pontoon MSP teams and Supplier Partnership representatives to ensure timely initiation, remediation, and completion of audits as scheduled. The position also supports the Supplier Partnership team with various administrative tasks.
What you’ll be doing
- Accountable for managing the Pontoon Compliance central mailbox, acknowledging emails within the same day of receipt, responding to requestor within 24 hours of receipt
- To vet all documents with 100% accuracy
- To manage all required chases which includes but is not limited to data to initiate the audit, outstanding supplier compliance documentation, and remediation activities.
- Audit Suppliers to the specific elements which are outlined for each client, country, and MSP Service.
- Administers the audit of Suppliers following predetermined audit schedule to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Tracks non-compliance, communicates and interacts with Pontoon MSP teams, Supplier Partnership representatives and Suppliers.
- Documents issues and maintains formal tracking process for all assigned tasks.
- Reviews, reports and tracks trends for each audit.
- Escalates issues to the Team Leader and or Global Head of Supplier Partnership to resolve complex issues. Provides feedback regarding recommended solutions to improve process.
- Establishes, fosters, and maintains working relationships with colleagues, senior management, and suppliers.
- At each stage adheres to the Supplier Compliance Audit SLAs.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- Accountable for updating Supplier and Account records, in the central database.
- Accountable for ensuring the supplier compliance audit status is 100% accurate and most up to date at any given time during the audit process.
- To liaise with the Team Leader to coordinate and prioritize the supplier audit activities
- Highlight risks to supplier audits to Team Leader
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
About you ED UCATION AND E XPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- One (1) to two (2) years' work experience. MSP experience preferred.
K NOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to interact and communicate detailed information and requirements with Suppliers, all levels of staff and management.
- Experience using web-based systems preferred but not required.
- Ability to work well in a team, maintain a sense of urgency and continuously strive to improve processes to drive efficiency.
- Ability to adapt and respond positively to a varied and changing workload.
- Ability to define steps required for completion of deliverables.
- Ability to produce results in an ever-changing environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
