For our Amsterdam office, we are seeking an organized and friendly professional for the role of Receptionist & Administrative Assistant. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations, greeting visitors, handling incoming calls, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of daily office activities.
I. Reception Duties:
Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
Manage the reception area, ensuring it remains clean and presentable.
Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges as necessary.
II. Administrative Support:
Support client facing staff with administrative tasks, such as document management.
Support with investor communication, following up on daily requests.
Maintain and update office records, files, and databases.
Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and conference room bookings.
Job requirements
Ideal experiences and competencies:
Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role is a plus.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Verbal and written Dutch proficiency is a must
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Friendly and positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
Organized and detailed in handling data.
Excellent written and oral communications in Dutch and English
