Outline of the Job
As a member of the Motor Development team for flying cars, this position will focus on supporting the development of motors that ensure the safety, performance, and reliability of eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing) aircraft.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking project where you'll work alongside experts in various technical fields, including power electronics, flight control, aerodynamics, and certification, to create the future of urban air mobility.
Job Highlights
Review of system requirements for flight units, ensuring traceability from aircraft-level requirements to motor component specifications.
Perform simulation and verification, confirming the motor meets the required quality standards.
Assist in identifying and coordinating with potential motor suppliers to meet the project’s requirements.
Support margin control to ensure the motor meets aircraft performance specifications, collaborating with partner manufacturers.
Participate in checking the performance of motors on actual equipment, identifying areas for improvement in collaboration with prototype and test teams.
Contribute to the development and refinement of motor systems that meet the strict certification standards of the aviation industry.
Essential Skills
Experience in various stages of motor development processes.
Proficiency in negotiating and coordinating with internal and external partners.
Background in developing high-power AC motors in the aerospace industry.
Desirable skills
Experience in the aerospace sector with knowledge on ARP-4754, DO-160.

Working Hours
Flextime or Discretionary labor system

Discretionary Labor System: Specialized Class Deemed working hours per day: 10 hours

Salary
Estimated Annual Salary: JPY 6,850,000 - JPY 12,940,000
Monthly Salary: JPY 571,000 - JPY 1,079,000
Includes fixed overtime pay for 45 hours, amounting to JPY 197,680 - JPY 373,562
*Additional overtime pay will be provided for hours exceeding the fixed overtime.
