Global IT Manager

We are on a mission to revolutionize the cloud infrastructure backup industry for enterprise customers. Led by a team of successful serial entrepreneurs and ex-Amazon senior leaders, we secured $200 million in funding in 2024 from prominent VCs like Sequoia, Lightspeed and Greenoaks, and we’re gearing up for an exciting journey and rapid growth. As we scale, we are looking for a hands-on IT Manager to serve as the sole IT function, owning the full IT lifecycle for the organization — from infrastructure to security to end-user support.
This role is ideal for a proactive, self-starter who enjoys variety, ownership, and building scalable processes from the ground up
Key Responsibilities:
IT Operations & End-User Support
Act as the primary IT point of contact for all employees
Provide day-to-day technical support (Tier 1–2) for hardware, software
Install, configure, and maintain networks, operating systems, and corporate software
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
User Management & Access Control
Manage the full employee IT lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning
Administer user accounts and permissions across platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.)
Implement and maintain IAM solutions, SSO, and automated workflows
Security & Risk Management
Maintain IT and data security, including endpoint protection, backups, and network security
Monitor, respond to, and investigate IT incidents and security threats
Define and enforce IT policies and access control procedures
Knowledge & Documentation
Maintain internal IT documentation and knowledge base
Develop guides and procedures for employees
Requirements
4–5+ years of hands-on IT experience, including system administration and Help Desk
Proven experience managing IT as a sole function in a growing company — highly preferred
Hands-on expertise with Windows and macOS environments
Experience with IAM (Azure AD, Entra, Okta), MDM
Networking, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint security knowledge
Excellent communication skills and service mindset
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
