Why we're looking:
We are expanding and seeking for an experienced Trader to join our team and help drive the success of our trading operations in the markets we cover. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in equity trading with intraday/day trading experience, with a deep understanding of financial markets and the ability to make informed and timely decisions.
As a key member of the Trading Team, you'll:
Develop and execute intraday trading strategies ( < 24h holding period) in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Monitor market trends, news, and economic data to make informed trading decisions
Master and execute trading algorithmic and discretionary strategies
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in risk management
Exercise discipline and ensure consistency by identifying and navigating trading risks and opportunities
We'd love for you to have:
3 - 5 years of relevant trading experience in a HFT and/or professional equity trading experience with a strong track record of success, with a proven P&L record
Own or operate successful alphas/strategies
Quick and decisive thinking and the ability to perform in a dynamic and stressful environment
Knowledge of any programming language will be an added advantage i.e. Python
A strong passion for competitive activities e.g. trading, games, sports
