Professional Drone Pilot - freelance or part-time (m/f/d)

Our flight test team is based in Karlsruhe and conducts product testing at various locations across Germany. We are looking for a Flight Test Engineer/Pilot on a part‑time or hourly freelance basis specifically for the test days.
🎯 How you will make an impact
Design and execute comprehensive test plans for UAVs and counter-drone systems.
Operate drones and test equipment in various flight test scenarios (manual, semi-autonomous, and fully autonomous).
Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections, logging test data and anomalies.
Analyze flight data, prepare test reports, and recommend improvements.
Ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
Occasionally travel to remote test sites and military ranges as required.
✅ What you need to be successful:
UAV flight testing experience.
Ideally Drone Pilot Certificate/License.
Experience with flight control systems.
Comfortable in fast-paced field test environments.
