We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for delivering creative solutions for complex problems on an unprecedented scale. You will build the next generation of our seller platform that will enable designers and developers to build beautiful, powerful, intuitive, responsive interfaces for all devices. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to create significant impact on our systems, our business and most importantly, our customers as we take on challenges that can reshape the e-commerce industry.
We are seeking someone who has strong technical and UX skills with a can-do attitude and a focus on delivering high quality software. We move at a fast pace and deliver software iteratively using AGILE best practices and the latest technologies. We’re just getting started, so this is your chance to get in at the beginning and create the definitive ecommerce experience.
Key job responsibilities
1. Work closely with senior engineers to develop the best UI technical design and approach for new product development.
2. Instill best practices for UI development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
3. Operational Excellence - monitoring & operation of production services
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional front end development experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- Experience (non-internship) in professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience with developing machine learning and natural language processing products
