About The Opportunity
Netrix Global is looking for a Data Modeler for the Professional Services – Data Intelligence department, with experience in data mapping and modeling, as well as in the design of data structures geared toward visualization and business consumption.The Data Engineer act as critical members of the data science team. Their tasks involve researching, building, and designing the artificial intelligence responsible for machine learning and maintaining and improving existing artificial intelligence systems.
Often, a Data Engineer will also serve as a critical communicator between other data science team members, working directly with the data scientists who develop the models for building AI systems and the people who construct and run them.

How You Will Make An Impact
Identifying, creating, preparing data required for modern Data solutions and Data for AI
Designing ETLs and ELTs for data transformations
Designing, building and management of Datalakes architectures
Working with Apache Hadoop projects (Spark, Hive, Pig, Oozie, Airflow, etc)
Integrating and testing Data solutions
Creating and documenting the tests to meet requirements
Working with Bigdata Environments
Managing Data Cloud services, data access, security and data governance
Analyzing and prepare data for Machine Learning workloads
Managing monitoring and logs of applications and services
What You Will Bring To The Table
Experience in Data Engineer/Architect role and tasks as ETL, data prepare & ingest, data streaming
Strong ability to design and define data models
Experience working in Cloud environments (AWS)
Knowledge of Python, R or other data process tools
Intermediate/ Upper English Level
Experience with Apache Spark
Experience using AWS or Microsoft Data services: S3, AWS or Microsoft Glue, Athena, Sagemaker, etc.
Experience using Devops tools (Git, pipelines)
Experience working in an Agile Scrum team
Experience working with infrastructure as a code (Terraform, Cloudformation, etc.)
Location
Argentina (any part of the country its great for us!)
Shift
9 a.m to 6 p.m from Monday to Friday
