Key job responsibilities Responsibilities * Think big, bringing innovative ideas and optimizations to improve the publisher experience. * You take a long-term view of architecture, proactively fixing deficiencies and/or proposing larger projects. * Maintain and improve existing iOS SDK framework features in Objective-C and Swift * You understand the business impact of your systems and show good judgment when making technical trade-offs. * Your code submissions and approach to work are exemplary. You write software that is easy for others to contribute to. * You drive engineering best practices (e.g., Operational Excellence, Security, Quality, etc.) and set standards. * You will work closely with our product, backend, and customer-facing teams to build and maintain our SDK for the iOS platform Key job responsibilities * Passion for innovation and delivery of high quality products. * Understanding of asynchronous programming, multi-threading, and design patterns. * Deep understanding of mobile frameworks (especially iOS). * Ability to keep SDKs up-to-date on the latest industry trends in mobile technologies. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language Preferred Qualifications - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
