About The Role As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation. Your responsibilities will include migrating applications from on-prem to GCP, monitoring web applications, automating daily tasks, and maintaining the production environment. You will collaborate closely with development teams, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure our systems are highly available, secure, and efficient. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced DevOps professional who is passionate about solving complex challenges and enabling engineering teams to perform at their best. The following skills will be crucial: Hands-on experience migrating applications and infrastructure from on-premises environments to Google Cloud Platform (or other cloud provider). Skilled in designing secure, scalable, and cost-efficient GCP architectures using infrastructure as code, containerization, and managed services. Capable of defining and executing migration strategies with minimal operational disruption. Demonstrated ability to take ownership of complex systems, troubleshoot critical issues, and implement scalable solutions. Experience in sharing best practices, and driving key DevOps projects through hands-on technical contributions. Proven ability to streamline daily operations by developing automation scripts, refining CI/CD pipelines, and optimizing cloud infrastructure to enhance system reliability and team productivity. Strong communication skills to engage with engineering teams and stakeholders across the organization. Ability to work across disciplines to align infrastructure and deployment strategies, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence. Skilled at addressing complex and unclear technical challenges. Capable of analyzing issues, defining objectives and success metrics, and crafting efficient, practical solutions to meet project goals.
