Responsibilities: Architect and implement robust infrastructure solutions (servers, storage, networking, and GPU computing grid) for trading (performance focus) and research (scale focus) Lead data center migrations, domain decoupling, and performance optimization initiatives Implement solutions to monitor latency, detect anomalies, troubleshoot performance issues quickly, and gain a single source of truth for complex trading environments (e.g. Corvil) Required Technical Qualification, Skills, and Experience: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or STEM field Minimum 15 years of experience in data center and cloud infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role Expertise in networking, virtualization, cloud platforms (AWS), and storage solutions (Pure Storage, Ceph, GPFS, VAST Data solution) Expertise in multicast data distribution, Solarflare/Mellanox NIC optimizations, PTP time synchronization, and Corvil like tools Experience with CPU pinning, NUMA optimization, IRQ affinity, BIOS tuning, overclocked servers, FPGA integration and Kernel configuration for latency-sensitive workloads Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef) Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack/Splunk Experience in exchange connectivity and proximity hosting Understanding of market data feeds, FIX protocol, and colocation environments Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to build and lead a team, mentor engineers, and collaborate with traders and developers Location: Central, Hong Kong Y-Intercept (Hong Kong) Limited is an equal opportunity employer.
