Back to jobs Senior Software Engineer- Full Stack (Java + Angular) Bangalore Apply Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java / Angular) to join TRG Screen’s engineering team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining both backend services and frontend applications that power TRG Screen’s enterprise products. As part of a global engineering organization, you’ll work across the full stack - from Java-based services to Angular frontends - ensuring scalability, performance, and great user experience. This is a hands-on development role with opportunities for technical leadership, architectural input, and mentorship. In addition to building new features, you will also maintain and modernize legacy code, including rewriting older components to align with current standards. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and frontend applications for TRG Screen products. Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-release support. Develop backend services using Java and microservices architecture, ensuring scalability and reliability. Develop frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript, converting UI/UX designs into responsive, interactive interfaces. Integrate front-end applications with backend APIs (RESTful services). Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software issues across the stack. Contribute to architecture discussions, coding standards, and reusable components. Collaborate effectively with product managers, QA, UX designers, and other stakeholders. Produce technical documentation such as design specifications, release notes, and runbooks. Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across the team. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer (Java + Angular). Strong experience developing enterprise-grade backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs. Hands-on experience with Angular (v10+), TypeScript, and modern UI development practices. Strong knowledge of Relational Databases and ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA). Understanding of microservices architecture, design patterns, and scalability principles. Experience with automated testing (unit, integration) and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure). Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across frontend and backend. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to write clear technical documentation and participate in design discussions. Preferred / Nice to Have Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices Familiarity with financial services or research technology domains. Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity and code quality.
