What We Need: We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Junior Game Designer to join our dynamic team here at Dynamite Games. As a Junior Game Designer, you will collaborate closely with our design, audio, and development teams to assist in the creation and refinement of our games. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for gaming, and excellent documentation skills to ensure ideas are clearly communicated and implemented effectively. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and development of comprehensive Game Design Documents (GDDs). Write and refine game rules and mechanics to ensure clarity and user engagement. Collaborate with the Game Audio Designer to synchronize sound elements with game design. Work alongside senior designers and developers to create exciting and innovative slot game concepts. Conduct playtests, gather feedback, and suggest design improvements. Ensure high standards of documentation are maintained throughout the design process, ensuring clear and concise communication across teams. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging design practices to contribute fresh ideas to the team. Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit: 1+ year(s) of experience in game design or related field (internships and personal projects considered). Good understanding of game mechanics Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail in creating clear and structured documents. Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma, or similar software) and version control systems. Basic understanding of game audio design and its role in player engagement. Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. A passion for gaming and a strong desire to grow within the industry.
