About the role
The Field Service Technician III is responsible for the clean-up and transportation of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste. Field Service Technician III is expected to perform various tasks including but not limited to loading and unloading tanks and tankers with bulk liquids, complete inspection of equipment, hoses and connections as well as perform confined space entry.
Position Responsibilities
Provide training and guidance to other members on the team.
Operate a variety of equipment including but not limited to pressure washers, hand trucks, forklifts and power tools independently in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as OSHA requirements.
Driving a commercial vehicle to pick up and transport waste to a designated location safely while meeting scheduled appointments and following all DOT regulations.
Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water. Secures cargo prior to and during transport.
Leads team on mid-large sized confined space projects, communicating with the Manager and onsite customers.
Ensuring all paperwork is accurate, complete and processed
Complete documentation including manifests and driver logs.
Acts as a professional representative of Reworld while acting in an autonomous manner at a customer site.
Removes materials from tanks, pits, or trenches with hand tools.
Work in confined spaces above or below ground and on or under equipment.
Maintain a neat and clean working environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
5 + years’ experience or has completed FS Technician II training
Maintains a valid Driver’s License
Ability to travel 25% of the time, including overnight stays
Demonstrated experience in OSHA Health and Safety Rules and completes required training provided by Reworld.
Physical Demands of the Role
Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
Qualify to wear a full-face respirator
Consistently work in various weather conditions

Pay Transparency
Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld’s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.
The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $52,200.00 - $69,400.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
