Back to jobs SQA Engineer (Manual) Taipei, Taiwan Apply We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Quality Analyst with a strong passion for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. As a Software Quality Analyst, you will play a critical role in the software development process by conducting thorough manual testing to identify defects and verify that the software meets established quality standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, PMs, automation engineers, and other stakeholders, to ensure a smooth and efficient testing process. What you’ll do Collaborate with software development teams at BBPOS and Stripe Terminal (US and Canada) to ensure high quality releases for Payment terminals and components such as SDKs, EMV Configs, Android Apps, Firmware and ROM. Develop comprehensive non-functional test plans and perform exploratory testing to validate software functionality. Perform functional, regression and non-functional testing to identify defects and verify stability and accuracy of software products before releasing to users. Report software defects and work closely with developers and project managers to ensure resolution of identified defects and monitor resolution process. Provide timely updates on testing progress and results to project stakeholders including potential risks and impact on users. Continuously refine the testing process by identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements. Minimum requirements 3+ years of experience as a Software Quality Analyst or Software Test Engineer with a strong focus on manual software testing in a professional environment. Experience with defect tracking tools and defect lifecycle management. Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases and compiling testing reports. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and software development lifecycle. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in an agile development environment. Proactive, self-driven, and adaptable to changing priorities and requirements.
