The ideal candidate will Integrate subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area.</p><p></p><p>By Joining Citi, you will become part of a global organisation whose mission is to serve as a trusted partner to our clients by responsibly providing financial services that enable growth and economic progress.</p><p></p><p><b>Role Overview</b></p><p>Citi Global Payroll Services (GPS) currently has an opportunity within our UK Team for a Senior Payroll and Business Travel Manager who will manage Global Cross Border Mobile Employees. &nbsp;Partnering with Corporate Tax, HR, Risk Management, and local payrolls, the candidate must have strong project management skills and be able to communicate effectively within all levels of the organization.&nbsp;The ideal candidate will also have experience with cross border employment tax, global external system implementations and familiarity with cross border administration.<br></p><p><b><span>What you’ll do</span></b></p><ul><li>Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running portfolio of Cross Border Remote Work (CBRW) and Short-Term Business Visitor (STBV) programs</li><li>Administers and manages the global Cross Border Mobile Employees (CBRW &amp; STBV) systems/ applications delivering system enhancements to increase automation and user productivity</li><li>Acts as CBRW &amp; STBV programs SME with strong understanding of operational details to support the overall program</li><li>Manages critical and time sensitive issues &amp; cases involving senior level / sensitive cases including any escalations</li><li>Identifies and drives resolution of issues, including those outside established programs of work</li><li>In close partnership with payroll and corporate tax, coordinates review of tax implications for CBRW and STBV populations and ensures delivery of advice to impacted stakeholders</li><li>Establishes partnership with HR Partners, Corp Tax and senior stakeholders to review/create business requirement documents, functional specifications and change requests (CRs)</li><li>Partners with HR Help Center technology team to suggest and lead efforts related to Cross Border Mobile Employees programs enhancement</li><li>Coordinate with a cross-functional team including GFT, UAT and Business SMEs to define business priorities and develop solutions which mitigate risk where necessary and maximize benefit to the business</li><li>Partners with Technology as a central point of contact throughout the planning, design, build, testing and release of global Cross Border Mobile Employees technology solutions</li><li>Maintains process and program documentation including for internal audit purposes</li><li>Oversees external system implementation and ongoing vendor management</li><li>Manages vendor(s) in line with the Citi Third Party Management policy i.e. third-party Risk assessments, application vulnerability assessments, cross border data clearance, and control functions for compliance</li><li>Provides reporting and KPIs on STBV &amp; CBRW programs, leveraging the global dashboard tools</li><li>Plays a lead role in implementing process re-engineering ideas</li><li>Analyses data and provides key trends to support decision making on the process/system solution</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>What we’ll need from you</span></b></p><ul><li>Knowledge of US Tax.</li><li>Previous experience with Global Cross Border Mobile Employees.</li><li>Strong Managerial / leadership expertise with prior experience in managing teams.</li><li>Excellent written / verbal communication and presentation skills.</li><li>Excellent influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills.</li><li>Demonstrated experience and ease in interfacing with Senior Management.</li><li>Ability to manage workstreams in parallel and multitask, exceptional time-management skills.</li><li>Prioritizes work in alignment with organizational and departmental goals.</li><li>Ability to operate in a team environment, working efficiently in a multi office/time zone/cross-cultural environment and countries.</li><li>Strong attention-to-detail. Excellent judgment and independent decision-making ability.</li><li>Proficient user of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required.</li><li>Prior experience with Service Now / Workday functionality is desirable.</li><li>Experience in working in transformational projects is desirable/</li><li>Either a Bachelor’s/University degree plus a relevant experience or a extensive relevant experience.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>What we can offer you</span></b></p><p>We work hard to have a positive financial and social impact on the communities we serve.
